I agree with you here..
E. Williams has some nifty post up moves..that's it. He is so so athlete, a
poor defender and a terrible rebounder. Numerous times even when he was in
position Jefferson simply jumped up a snatched rebounds from him. K. Brown
should have had his minutes..simply to compete with NJ better on the athletic
level.

Everyone LIKES EW. He plays hard and he has overcome adversity...but OB's
love affair with him should end. If you can sign him cheap like McCarty he
can stick around..of course.

I disagree with the sentiment that AW must go. Sportswriters neglect the team
aspect of sports and focus too much on the stars. The problems with the Celts
aren't Pierce and Walker.. It's the fact that marginal bench guys like Delk,
E. Williams, and McCarty were starting. A star point or Shawn Marion-esque SF
would really help this team.

Perhaps they know this..but realize picking on say Delk's lousy ball handling
or McCarty inability to guard Jefferson doesn't make as good a story as
attacking Walker. <g>

Walker might not be a #2 guy..but he would start on many NBA teams. That
being said its not a bad idea to trade him for the right player and/or pick.
But asserting that he has to go is just silly.

I really would like to see OB go..so we can start rebuilding our talent base
and run an offense better suited to our personel. Contrary to the views of OB
we don't really have a team of three point marksman. If that is what he wants
DA had better start drafting Europeans. We have some guys that can hit
threes...Delk, McCarty, Pierce Walker and E. Will but NONE of them are
particulary good at it.
