RE: Good News - Good News

I heard John Nash would likely be taking the Portland position. If Wallace
goes we need to get a second rounder like when we took him from Miami and
take Troy bell or James Lang or Charlie Villanueva. This team needs to get
more athletic inside. Martin just killed us.

Charlie Villanueva may be the answer.

The Walker to Chicago makes a lot of sense. They have Chandler, Jay Williams
and Curry and could use a veteran don't need another draft pick. We could
get Fizer and end up with Anthony, Milicic, Bosh, White, Wade, Kaman and or
use the pick for trade bait. We need to find an athletic or physical 4 and a
center.

I was thinking this--we offer to let Wallace go to Portland now if he takes
Baker with him. Then we take the extra money and make a one year deal for
Mourning providing his medical exam merits his coming here. Make some
reasonable deals with the draft picks and get a decent point guard. That
gives us the PG everyone here but me thinks we need first, and gives us a
man in the middle for at least a year, which would shut me up on at least
one subject.

Yeah, yeah, I know "It'll never happen."

Then again, Paul Pierce did slip to 10th in HIS draft, so anything is
possible.
