Rick Anderson

Rick Anderson
FORWARD | (6-9, 225) | ARIZONA | COLLEGE STATS

Notes: After three years in the program as a key reserve, Anderson instantly became a team leader in 2001-02 and continued in that role through his senior season of 2002-03. Often the ?X factor? for the Wildcats, as his positive contributions ensured success.

An underrated defender who ranked second on the team in blocks (24) and fifth in steals (25) as a senior. Anderson is versatile enough to play the two, three, or four positions. Posted a 101-23 (.815) record during his UA playing career, starting 63 of 66 games during final two seasons at Arizona.

Posted career highs in nearly every statistical category in 2002 as his playing time more than doubled. Averaged 12.5 points and 9.3 rebounds in four NCAA Tournament games. An honorable mention all-Pac-10 selection.
