Jon Barry?

This blurb was in the Detroit Free Press this morning:

A core is in place, consisting of backcourt mates Chauncey Billups and
Richard Hamilton, forward Ben Wallace, and two promising rookies from this
season in Tayshaun Prince and Mehmet Okur. Veteran Cliff Robinson signed a
two-year extension earlier this year, and Corliss Williamson, the 2002 sixth
man of the year, also is under contract. Backup guard Chucky Atkins likely
will be traded, and free agent Jon Barry probably won't be back. He might
end up in Boston.

Of course, many Celtic fans will never forgive Barry for not signing with
the team after the Celts drafted him many years ago. Whatever. He'd be a
nice addition to the bench. He's an impact player off the bench, and seems
like a great chemistry guy. He'd be a good pickup for the minimum, or
something like that.

Also, Mo Williams, the Alabama point guard I've been interested in, sprained
his ankle yesterday in Chicago. He may or may not play the rest of the camp.
That could force him to go back to Alabama for his junior season.
