Kedrick...improving.

Yeah..he torched the Knicks in a summer league game..heh.

Granted doesn't sound like much but he was hot. I mean..I never seen him 
really hot before. Was bombing threes non stop and lauched one from way beyond the 
arc and nailed it. I was starting to cast my vote with the "Kedrick sucks" 
crowd till I saw this performance. Guy can ball. He shot about 50% for the 
summer league. He has never shot that high a percentage before.

Last year Kedrick didn't play cause he couldn't hit the wide open three. I 
mean he would miss, and there wasn't anyone even covering him. He seems to be 
able to hit that shot now. That's essential if your playing for OB.

Also like I said before..with Banks running the show he will get lots of easy 
looks, fast break shots, and little post ups. Heh. Using Kedrick in last 
years system was a waste. It was killing his game.

He is a young guy, and is about the same age as our rookies (younger then 
hunter a few months older then Banks). Its not out of the realm of possibility 
that he could improve. OB says he is a hard worker and has a high basketball 
I.Q. So I imagine he is working on his shot.

An outside shot is what he needs to make it in this league. He has little 
trouble getting open, because he can elevate for the jumper and can beat people 
who cover him close off the dribble.

Oh yeah Joe Johnson is looking good...
I think he will be a 12 and 5 guy this year. Some of these younger players 
just take a few years to put it together.
