9 men left

Occasionally not having a key player is kind of
intriguing as a change (provided said player isn't
seriously hurt).

Its almost fun to be back in a David v. Goliath situation
on game day.

Here's all of what Obie will have on his squad, assuming
Battie and Delk are also out:

1. Kedrick Brown (to guard Ray ALLEN from start to finish)

2. PAUL PIERCE (needs 40 points and to shut to down Tim
Thomas, Michael Redd etc.)

3/4. Bremer/Shammond v. CASSELL (MUST neutralize or win
this matchup too)

5. Vin Baker as Boston's PF (on Anthony Mason)

6. Waltah as everything (on Tim Thomas, Caffey or Kukoc)

7. Eric Williams (also to cover EVERYONE, particularly
Redd and Ray)

8. Grant Long at center (v. Caffey or Mason)

9. Sundov (if Gadzuric, Ervin Johnson or Pryzbilla come
out of Karl's doghouse)

That's it. That's our entire roster. Our "Big Nine".

We will see if this Celtics lineup can miraculously hold
the fort against the marauding beer meisters. Its like a
time warp back to the exciting 36-win first year with
Pitino, only with even less talent but more team
chemistry.

We'll need everyone to keep their poise, fight like dogs,
and for certain players to have breakthrough games (Vin
has a chance here, so does Kedrick). Shammond, Waltah and
Eric have to play out of their minds. Paul Pierce has to
know what's coming at him, and lead this team with triple
double type stuff.
