No..

I don't like Grant. He isn't worth a Walker type talent. Statistics can be
decieving.
For example you could make a case that Tony Battie is a better player then
Walker.
Like Grant he shoots a much better percentage, he blocks more shots and gets
more rebounds! Best too is ordinary. He would be a improvement over what we
have..but he is still ordinary.

For whatever reason when things go bad there is some great push to trade our
stars.
It didn't work so great for Chicago (Elton Brand)....and I am not certain it
would work out great for us. Walker brings intangibles to the table a guy
like Grant doesn't. Walker is a winner, Walker is competitive and Walker is a
versatile player. Plus Walker likes being a Celtic. Grant has none of these
qualities.

Would a guy like Grant help us? Sure..so would a guy like Keon Clark, or a
guy like Brian Skinner. In the NBA though Grant is nothing special...as
evidenced by Miami's record. Miami is a bad team with little talent. We
should never trade with them. Teams like Golden State, Portland, Denver, and
Sacremento have alot more talent to trade for, IMHO. I think fans around here
are colored by what they see in games vs. the Celtics.

I am not opposed to trading anyone..but really Grant?! Walker demands a Gary
Payton, Steve Francis or Rasheed Wallace type of talent.. Not some hard
working 10.1 ppg stiff. Heck they Davis guys are better...

What we need to get on track is to..
Draft better...make better trades and evaluate free agent talent better.

To be in the running, we need more depth, and another front line star.
Trading a star for depth doesn't get the job done, IMHO. OB has spoken that
he wants to develop Kedrick..maybe the truth is finally starting to sink in.
Walker and Pierce aren't enough to get it done....we need more talent not
less.
