How about this one instead? 

 The Knicks have previously shown interest in Baker and their  
desperation for a big man along with a desire to move Sprewell  makes it
work for them. As far as Chicago, Rose wants out, and  the Cs benefit by
getting rid of Baker and taking on someone who  can play the point as 
well as spell Pierce at the 2. In addition, the  salaries match, 
according to Realgm.com. 

Boston trades:  PF Vin Baker 
Boston receives:SF Jalen Rose 

New York trades:  SF Latrell Sprewell 
New York receives:  PF Vin Baker 

Chicago trades:  SF Jalen Rose 
Chicago receives:  SF Latrell Sprewell
