<Shareef On the Block?
A close Hawk source has revealed the fact that Shareef
Abdur-Rahim is on the trading block. He has been mentioned to go
Golden State for expiring contracts, such as Adonal Foyle,Bob
Sura, and Chris Mills. The Hawks organization wants to clear room
to re-sign Jason Terry, and be a major player in the 2004 Free
Agency, which includes Rasheed Wallace, Kevin Garnett, Kobe Bryant,
and more! Another possibility is to Milwaukee for Toni Kukoc,
Anthony Mason, and Jason Caffey. Although if the Milwaukee trade
did happen, Chris Crawford would be traded along with Abdur-Rahim
and a few picks. To name another few teams interested in Abdur-
Rahim, would be: Washington,Chicago,Seattle, Toronto, and Utah.
Although, many teams are interested in Abdur-Rahim, Milwaukee
remains the closest. Check back, to see any updated news on
Shareef Abdur-Rahim.
Keon to Philly?
For this whole off-season,Philadelphia has been inquiring
about Keon Clark. A revealing source of the Jazz has told
officials about a trade that would send Aaron McKie to Utah for
Keon Clark, straight up. Apparently, the salaries do match, evenly.
The Sixers have been after Keon Clark, even when he was in
Sacramento. The Jazz also have their minds on Jason Terry, whom
would play point guard if signed, which means Matt Harpring can be
traded for a power forward such as Clifford Robinson from Detroit.
For the Sixers, they would have one of the best froncourts
in the East. Meanwhile, trying to find a backup shooting guard
will be hard, but the new coach might put Iverson at point and
trade Eric Snow for a shooting guard, its just a possibility. But
if this trade does happen, expect Matt Harpring to be on the
move , next.
Garrity and Harpring
A inside Magic source has been aware of a trade that would
send Pat Garrity, Jeryl Sasser, and Steven Hunter to Utah for Matt
Harpring. It would be a good trade for each team, Utah gets more
help at nearly every position, and Orlando get a great spot-up
shooter in Harpring!
This deal would be made for sure, only if the trade that
would send Keon Clark to Philadelphia for Aaron McKie, happened
first. If that trade happens first then the deal should be sealed and the
deal should happen.
Stayed tuned, a trade could happen any day!
