Charley Rosen rates the Eastern Conference coaches (and nails O'B rien pretty well)

ESPN.com Page 2's Charley Rosen has written some great stuff about the NBA
this season. In his latest piece, he rates the coaches in the East. Obie
finishes near the bottom with a C-1 grade. Here's Rosen's evaluation, with a
few notes from me thrown in:

Jim O'Brien, Boston -- Grade: C-
Boston is just good enough to break the hearts of its fans. (MARK SAYS:
AMEN!) Are Antoine Walker and Paul Pierce blackmailing their coach with
secret photographs of him in some compromising postures? (MARK SAYS:
EXCELLENT QUESTION) Their offensive philosophy seems to be "Throw enough mud
at the wall and some of it's bound to stick." (Between them, Walker and
Pierce take 51 percent of the Celtics' total shots and score about the same
percentage of the team's total points.) (MARK SAYS: DOES THAT NAIL THE
CELTS' OFFENSE, OR WHAT?) Or, in the absence of a legit point guard, has
O'Brien mandated that the Celtics' Double-Dips shoot first and never ask
questions? (MARK SAYS: NOPE. OBIE HAS THE POINT GUARDS HE WANTS. REMEMBER,
HE SAID THEY'D BE BETTER THAN KENNY THIS YEAR.)
Boston's variety of trapping defenses can disrupt poorly prepared opponents
and create turnovers. Otherwise, the Celts are routinely outshot,
outrebounded, outassisted, out-free-throwed, and outscored. A poorly
balanced team in a poorly balanced conference. (MARK SAYS: HALLELUJAH! THE
TRUTH SHALL SET US FREE-FROM OBIE AND WALLACE, I HOPE.)
