Twang, as Forant likes to call him, is not the problem with this team as it's currently constructed.
THE problem? Nope, of course not. One of them? Absolutely, and will be so long as his fingerprints are all over so much of what happens on the court while his decision making is consistently so far below the other things he brings to the table. As to how this team is currently constructed, injuries, etc you can always find excuses for him if you want to look for them but since you referenced his leadership, I'll do him the credit to think he won't thank you for it (if nothing else, it should remind him distastefully of Pitino). Does AW go out and nightly do the best job he can to make bad situations better? Not does he go out and put out some effort, but is it constructive effort? I don't think even he would say yes, and there are enough times and reasons for answering no (want to talk free throw shooting among the latest things making him at times a liability?) to make him part of the problem.

Which is not to say I want to trade him ASAP. Change is not inevitably progress and I still have some hope it's not too late for him, based upon last year. But as MJ has very publicly pointed out to him two years in a row, he's got to be a lot less hard headed about listening to others and a lot smarter on the court. Lessons MJ had to learn himself, so he knows.
