This list isn't infested, at least one of the members is/was. The reason the messages are blank and that the list itself is not infected is because Paul has the list set to strip virus. Unfortunately, at least one list member is/was infected with the KLEZ virus, which takes email addresses from anywhere on his computer and which is known to forge from addresses (if you look at the actual message path rather than the from field, that tells you where the message is coming from).
