And therein lies the answer to why you are so reactionary.  Because your
opinions are based on what you perceive as the present.  That's what you did
last year also.  You will flip flop like a flounder all over the place.  You
will praise Toine on his good performances and rip him for being
uncaptainlike when he doesn't measure up.  You'll blame Obie when we lose
and commend him and Harter when we play well.  It is a tad predictable, no?
Why not just wait and see how this team takes shape before you come out
swinging.  Oh...that's right...we had the preseason and one regular season
game.  And from that you know how the team will do.  Good thing we kept
Delk?  Most folks wanted him shipped out for a bag o thumbtacks after last
season.  It was generally accepted that Rogers was the contributor to our
success, not Delk.

I base my opinions which I even rate far below the better basketball heads
in this group on the present. So last nite we under-achieved. We got out
rebounded and didn't score 100+ points. Two critical things we have to do.
This is not as good a team as last year. Thank God we kept Delk. the
competition is going to be stiffer this season. We can't depend on injuries
to other teams to help us out. That's why I see us as a 7-8 playoff rank.
Now maybe somewhere along the line we make a trade for the better, voila!!
