Re: Kenny Anderson

Interesting, Dan. Hard to believer that the IGTC board has any KA fans on
it; I felt like a lone wolf.

You're 100% right about "diamond for glass". I could tolerate the idea of
SWill and Delk replacing Kenny because the coach used the 3pt shot and
Walker to run the offense; in that role, the supposed PGs were better
shooters and defenders so that there's no big loss of the true PG skills.
However, the offenses DO set up with these guys, and it's horrific. SWill
gets smothered inside, taking lousy shots, and Delk doesn't create a thing
for his teammates from the perimeter.

I remember Obie saying that Rodney would fill in for Twan, allowing the guy
some rest. Didn't ever get used that way. Is this another example of spin
from the BT that tries to mask the bad tradeoff of jumpshooting PGs that do
nothing else for the offense? If our team falls down this season, it'll be
because Delk and SWill don't make anybody's jobs easier, not because of
Baker's weaknesses in his 20 min of PT. But will that be recognized by
management?
