Shammond Williams
FWIW, Peter Vescey calls Shammond Williams an "unofficial
version of Vinnie Johnson about to be discovered".

Of course, there's no denying Baker's low docks presence
is something the Celtics conspicuously lacked, and surely
he'll be on his best behavior for at least a semester or
two. Then again, if Paul Pierce were reluctant to share
the rock with his "Dream Team" partners in egocentricity,
what makes management think he'll bless Baker with more
than touch or two? Baker, by the way, claims Pierce has
the potential to be the greatest player he's ever been
frozen out by.
The procurement of Shammond Williams:
Most people have no clue (Nate McMillen, for instance)
how easily he can embarrass opponents off the dribble and
effortlessly pile up points. No, he's not a pure point
guard, but the Celts don't need one as long as Antoine
Walker directs the offense from up top. What is Shammond?
An unofficial version of Vinnie Johnson about to be
discovered ... as long as he embraces his spot-up role
once he brings the ball up court and passes it to Pierce.
