Actually, Dorine, I'd be very suspect to assume that they're friends.  The
both go home to different cities in the summer and there's no mention of
them seeing each other in the off-season.  What the media makes of their
relationship has no bearing on the truth.  And breaking them up would give
Twan more freedom and Paul no lifeline when he gets out of control.

Just my opinion.  As I'm sure yours is.
