Re: Now that was frightening!

OK, first off, let's not get into a big deal here. This'll be my last post on it, therefore. But, because you're calling me a liar, I feel like I have to respond.

When you "cc" things to my email addy as well as to the list, you're sending things to me. You send things to me because my address (as below) is in the "To:" field, even thought I've told you not to and everything you send to me gets bounced back to you. It's a waste of bandwidth. I don't think you're a liar, Lance, but clearly you're a bit ignorant about what you're doing when you send mail to someone and then carbon copy it to another email address.

Bird

P.S. In fact, things from Lance frequently get mailed to me, but don't get sent to the list, even though the "Celtics@igtc.com" address is listed in the "To:" field. If this is one of those times (and it could easily be so), then I apologize to the list, because they have no idea what we're talking about. Lance, I'm asking you yet again to refrain from sending me personal email, as I only rarely skim over them, and they always get bounced back to you. Keep it to the list, where I can ignore you. And, seriously, you might want to check out your smtp server, email client or whatever to make sure you're sending things where you want them to go. (Or check with Paul M., if you suspect it's an igtc-side problem, perhaps related to people's stated delays in seeing their posts, etc.) Like I said, I get things that have the igtc list address in the "To:" field, but never seem to make it to the list proper. Something seems wrong with that.

People, you should understand what a liar Bird is. I send NOTHING to him,
he just gets cc'd on the replies to his stuff. He's sent me things that
you'd love to read. I only post some of it, to remind you that the mirror
has two faces.
