ESPN.com's Andy Katz on Celtics' draft plans

Nothing earth-shattering here, but I thought list members would be
interested. Certainly not the time to be thinking about next year, but he
wrote this little tidbit on the same day he wrote a story about the influx
of global players and quoted Leo Papile extensively. The most interesting
item is the "expecting to sign Rodney Rogers" line. Anyway, here it is:

Boston Celtics fans should get used to their present team because there
isn't going to be much change next season, at least not through the draft.
The Celtics have only one pick -- No. 50 in the second round. Boston is
expecting to sign Rodney Rogers, which will put them into the luxury tax
area and they won't have the cash to take on another contract. They've
already got Omar Cook signed for next season so expect the Celtics to use
the second-round pick probably for a European player who won't be expected
to come over to the U.S. for at least a year.
