Because, very quickly, I agree with everything Mark wrote, and when was the
last time that happened? I agree with it all and the Celtics were still in
both games, on the road, 'til the very end. They've done it with Paul Pierce
playing like crap. He's obviously an enormous part of the offense and when
he plays like he has been for the past two games this team should be getting
blown out, especially considering the Sixers had to have both games. The
Celtics knew they needed home court advantage for the first round of the
playoffs. They said it over and over again during the season and this is
why. The Sixers weren't going to roll over and die but they certainly didn't
let the Celtics hang around in the last two games. The Celtics did what they
needed to do except close out. It's all good. Pierce can't continue to play
like this. He's going to be in front of an adoring home crowd. It'll be a
Paul Pierce love fest. Celtics by double figures.
