RE: Magic Defense.

I think it is obvious that we need a strong, defender in the post who is
content to rebound and play D. If/when this team adds that person, we will
be hellacious!

Right now, we must try to gun em which is the philosophy employed by the
coach. It has worked to this point, Delk and Rogers are fitting in quite
nicely, therefore I am happy.

Success comes in bits and pieces, unless you hit the lottery which we ain't
doing. I am happy with this team and its' accomplishments thus far. But I
am in the minority in that I feel they are taking advantage of their
strengths as well as any team in the league. That may not be enough to
appease everyone, but I feel it is an undisputed fact.

Still not enough to win the title this year, but it is readily apparent that
this team has making, and advancing in the playoffs, as their goal this
year. That is realistic and commendable.

Hmmm..

Yeah I suppose you have a point about Magic. He probably was a solid
defender.
I was pretty young when he was great so maybe I did understimate him.

I just considered him more of a "smart" player then a talented defender who
could
just shut down great players.. But I was thinking if he was on the current
Celts he would likely be the second best defender on the team. So I suppose
you are right.

I am worried about the Celts lineups defense. I don't think we can win
a championship till we get some folks who can slow down the ultra tall
types...
Gasou and Duncan just tower over our smaller lineup and cause havoc.

We need to add a really tall shot blocker/defender type. I like Battie but
he
alone
isn't enough. He is more of an active PF then a center. Its to bad Blout
can't play.
