Gooden, Hilario, etc. 

But it's not happening.

Neither are any of these Kenny Anderson deals.

Gotta keep Anderson's cap space available to make up for Pierce's
extension kicking in after next season. 

The luxury tax you know.

Salaries still high, revenue decreasing. 

Cap goes down and luxury tax implemented after next season.

Teams below the tax, like the Celtics, share in the wealth
of the penalties assessed to those over the tax.

Good business decision by Gaston and a profitable one.

Limits roster and talent flexibility however....
