Re: A bold move for Malone

Another thing that gives me a chuckle is when fans like Mr.. Jensen
don't seem to grasp the PR Ramifications of the deals they propose.

Let's see, you're Jazz management, and you have to sell to your loyal fan
base and season ticket holders, that you're trading the most popular and
best player in your history. The guy that got you into the finals and helped
rescue the franchise from obscurity.

Hmmmm! Let's deal him for Kenny Anderson (one good year in the last twenty),
Joseph Forte (Who?), and a mid-first (LOL).

That ought go big over with the Jazz fandom. Imagine trying to spin that
to your local and loyal, hardworking and dedicated Utah Mormons. LOL!

Ain't happening. Van Horn and Kittles may not be perfect, but there's name
recognition, and a link to Utah with Van Horn and the Utes. A far better deal,
both talent wise and sellability.

Not that Malone is being traded any ways. Larry Miller's a really loyal guy and
they could do the Bird/Parish/McHale thing with both Malone and Stockton.
As they probably should.
