Danger Signs, Celtics Future: Chicago Bulls

It's a No-Brainer!

With the second pick in the 2002 NBA Draft, the Chicago Bulls
select Franchise Point Guard Jay Williams.

A player that eerily reminds us of Isiah Thomas. But unlike Thomas,
William's first name is at least spelled right.

But like Thomas, Williams should have a large impact on the
team that's drafting him. He brings smarts, shooting skills, court
awareness,
respect, and leadership to a club that desperately needs it

In fact, Williams as a franchise PG, should provide an immediate
coalescing effect on the Bulls, changing them from a collection
of individual talents into a team. That's what the great point guards
do,
whether it's Magic or JerryWest, Kidd or the Cooooz.

And of course, Isiah. And the similarities between Williams and Thomas
don't end there.

For the Bulls project out to be a team very similar to Thomas' Pistons,
with Williams in the Isiah role, Rose as Dumars, Chandler as Rodman,
Curry as Laimbeer, and Hassell as the Microwave. Hell, we'll even toss
in
Marcus Fizer as John Salley.

And thus the Bulls are very dangerous to the Celtics.
