RE: Vecsey: Celts budget likely to prevent resigning Rogers

I a not sure we want Rodney Rogers. Rodney and Delk disappeared in this
series. New Jersey and guys like Aaron Williams and Richard Jefferson(a
player many thought we should have drafted) gave them key minute off the
bench, Strickland is the only bench player I can recall getting any
meaningful minutes out of in this series. Kidd just dominated us scoring and
penetrating at his own will.

Williams, Battie, MCcarty, Delk, Rogers, Blount, all were AOL when we needed
them.

Rogers is too short for the 4, too slow for the 3.

Time to clear out some salary where we can. I would try to get some draft
picks and go European. I heard , I believe it was Chad Ford say that in 3-5
years he expects the league to consist of 25-30% European players.

I heard an interview with Chris Wallace where he was asked if the unexpected
millions that the Celtics are reaping in playoff revenue might make it
easier for them to pay the luxury tax next year. He didn't rule it out.
