Baker and a future #1 for V and Kenny, huh? Well if Watson is out of the
picture and I'm the C's I also tell them I don't want Shammond Williams. We
already have an emerging Joe Forte who is bigger than Shammond and can add a
rebounding presence in the backcourt in addition to his scoring prowess. And
I've never witnessed any mid-range game to speak of from SW, either. But I
absolutely agree with you, DJ. The Sonics need to sweeten the deal because
the C's are doing the Sonics a favor by taking on VB's contract.

If Seattle is trying to demand that the C's give up Forte as part of the deal
then tell them to go pound sand. And if the C's front office is trying to
dump Forte then C's fans should tell Thanksdad to go pound sand.

As I said before, the Baker deal represents a high risk/high reward scenario.
IF Baker is healthy and could be a 15-10 a night guy, then the C's win the
East next year. Hands down.

Bottom line: Baker and a future #1 for V and Kenny, huh? I say sit tight for
awhile and make Seattle sweat. There is more urgency on them to make this
deal then there is on the C's.
