What does this mean?
What do these two statements mean? If we sign Rogers, we don't make the
trade? On the "internals", do we have to sign say Damon Jones before we make
the trade? Or is that someone internal to the organization is rejecting the
trade?
<According to league sources, trade talks between the Celtics and SuperSonics
will not reach any conclusion until Rogers's situation gets resolved. The
Celtics also have some ''internal issues'' to resolve before any deal could

Entire paragraph:
<According to league sources, trade talks between the Celtics and SuperSonics
will not reach any conclusion until Rogers's situation gets resolved. The
Celtics also have some ''internal issues'' to resolve before any deal could
go forward. Seattle had to settle matters with Jerome James before looking
seriously into the deal, but the James obstacle was cleared when the Sonics
re-signed the restricted free agent center Thursday. The trade being
considered would send Kenny Anderson and Vitaly Potapenko and possibly Joseph
Forte to Seattle for Vin Baker and possibly Shammond Williams. For all the
Eric Williams fans out there, rest assured he would not be part of the deal.
Williams is not going anywhere. One league source also noted that the trade
being suggested ''would be a financial deal, not a basketball deal for
Seattle.'' In translation, the Sonics would like to free themselves from the
four years and $50 million-plus remaining on Baker's contract ... It's only a
matter of days until the Celtics waive Omar Cook, which was further evidenced
by the fact he was asked not to suit up for last night's game against San
Antonio ... Those who left last night's Celtics game early missed a
show-stopping, Vince Carter -esque dunk by Kedrick Brown(15 points, 8
rebounds), one of four Boston players in double figures in the Celtics' 93-71
victory over the Spurs. The Celtics were led by Forte, who had 21 points. >
