Summer League question

Anyone know from prior years how tough it is to get around to get there 
using public transport? I know the red line takes you out to the UMASS stop 
(although if anyone's used the number 8 bus from Kenmore I'd be interested 
in hearing how that works out) and UMass's site mentions some sort of 
shuttle bus, but I'm on crutches and likely still to be at game time so if 
that still leaves a lot of walking, I'm cooked.
