mark berry i hear you

hey mark,

i read most, if not all your posts, becos you make sense and good celtic stuff. Somehow, I
am beginning to trust in OB and having more faith in his "if it's open, take it"
philosophy on 3 point shooting. Dr Jack also concurred with such. But looking at these
past 10games or so, i think we are beginning to play more "conventional" basketball, in
that we don't bomb 3s every time we are open. i think we are adapting more and more, you
see Battie and Pot being more and more effective.

We are likely going to the playoffs this season, and I want to see how far we can go. Only
after the playoffs, would i really know where to upgrade and this should be the way to
build us up to a championship level team. I think Wallace and team (does not include
WayRay) subscribes to this strategy/philosophy. do you agree?

teams like knicks and blazers, I'm afraid, they are chasing shadows.

i remember Red, while discussing having his title of presidency back, talked about getting
"celtic pride" back, in terms of treating people with respect (i think he was referring to
Ricky P days). I don't know what's wrong with JJ (hitting the rookie wall?) but I don't
think Wallace or OB will be trading him anytime this season, it is way too soon to bail
out on JJ. I think not trading JJ, while he's down, is a form of respect (am I stretching
it a bit far???)

> Kedrick isn't ready.

we just found out with the raptor game, Kedrick is definitely ready. I'm happy.
I can't believe Forte isn't ready. From Silas description of Forte (pre-draft time) and
the list members' report on his summer league play, I think Forte is nba-ready. I think it
is a numbers game at his 1/2 position, that's all.

cheers
