I would think that the team doctor would have been consulted on something
like this and if it was felt that he was okay.

They have given him more rest since the injury than normal so I think Obie
is somewhat cognizant of what damage could happen.  Players want to play
though and Toine definitely is in that category.  I remember Bird, McHale,
Parish, DJ, Havlicek, JoJo, Tiny, Ainge, Cowens, Cedric, etc, all playing
with injuries.

I think Obie is doing a nice job.
