DJessen, he's talking about two different aspects.  He's saying that guys 
in the NBA can take time to develop (like some NFL guys), but that 
basketball-types don't usually come out of left field (probably because of 
the intense scouting) ... and that's different than the NFL.

Come on, this is basic stuff.

I wasn't disappointed at all.  I admit, though, I was wishing for a 
Haywood or Loren Woods out of the draft, but, while the Forte pick is the 
most ambiguous pick last year, I still think that it can turn out to be at 
least as good as a big man.  It's *far* too early to decide, as NBA picks 
can take years to shake out.
