Re: on O'brien

I'm not so sure fresh legs off the bench are as good as our starters worn
out. They haven't proved it yet. Unless of course the game is a bust then
what the hell. And I'm not sure the Western road record would be any better
by saving these boys for a road trip out West. OB has to keep the pedal to
the metal whenever he can.

As to any posts about OB's coaching, I believe we'd be under 500 using any
other scenario.

that he didn't calculate ahead about the minutes, indicating that he didn't
think about playing the bench in order to keep the regulars fresh. He also
admitted that the team seemed to flag in the fourth quarter, not having the
stamina to finish strong.

surprised by the lack of strategy for a hard road trip. We have three
coaches and plenty of old timers around the shop; did no one suggest that
excessive minutes might lead to staggering conclusions? It seems to me
that, at some point, a fresh man off the bench is as good as a worn out
veteran on the court.
