Boston's "good guys"

This may also be older news (?), but Antoine Walker was
the only Bostonian named to The Sporting News "Good Guys"
list of 77 athletes in the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL and NASCAR
who "give back the most to the community, who are the
most willing to serve the needy and unfortunate."

The Boston nominees were Tim Wakefield (Red Sox), Adam
Vinatieri and T-buck Jones (Patriots), Hal Gill (Bruins)
and Paul Pierce, Waltah McCarty and Vin Baker (Celtics).
In all, there were 21 NBA players named to the "Good
Guys" list.

Its nice to see four nominees from the Celtics, a team
definitely on the way to winning back the hearts of
Boston fans.

Joe

p.s. And the really "good news" according to our own Way
is that IF the team is sold, the "logical" move will be
to trade Walker for another draft pick. Hope springs
eternal.
