LOS ANGELES -- Mike Dunleavy Jr.'s 3-point basket with 26
seconds left snapped a tie and helped the College All-
Stars beat the NBA All-Stars 139-138 in the 17th annual A
Midsummer Night's Magic exhibition Sunday.

Antoine Walker missed a shot at the buzzer that would
have won it for the NBA.

The College All-Stars trailed throughout but took a 130-
128 lead with just 3:19 to play on a 3-pointer by Casey
Jacobsen. Walker then made back-to-back 3s to tie it at
136 with 37 seconds left.

The game, organized by Magic Johnson's foundation, drew
14,758 fans to Staples Center.

Jacobsen scored 18 points for the College All-Stars,
coached by Johnson, and Jay Williams had 17. Tayshaun
Prince, Chris Wilcox and Qyntel Woods added 16 points
each.

The NBA All-Stars, coached by comedian Steve Harvey, were
led by Paul Pierce's 23 points. Corey Maggette and Darius
Miles had 17 each, and Derek Fisher scored 15.

The game culminated four days of events benefiting the
foundation's Taylor Michaels Scholarship Program, named
for the former chief operating officer of Magic Johnson
Enterprises who died in 1997.

The scholarship provides funds for college-bound students
facing difficult socio-economic conditions. The events
raised $1.1 million, a foundation spokeswoman said.
