slow news ... silly rumor

Since the board is so dead, I'll forward this
rumor making the rounds on the message
boards:  supposedly the radio stations in
Milwaukee and Boston are talking about a
deal for Sam Cassell that would send Eric
Williams and two first round picks to
to Milwaukee.  It obviously doesn't work
for Milwaukee, probably wouldn't work for
us, and they couldn't be next year's picks
because of the Ted Stepien rule.

no one actually heard it on the radio, I think.
They're all basing it on a bogus rumor from
the Real GM message board, which is about
as unreliable a source as you can get.
