Re: The Hour Has Come Round at Last

++ Yup, they definitely wanted the Celtics, more than the homecourt...

However, there will be no better opportunity to knock off the Sixers than
the first round. If they played somebody else and won, they would be that
much more in sync if we met them later in the playoffs. Better to attack
them when they are not 100% -- especially Iverson. And it would certainly be
much sweeter to take them out ourselves than watch someone else do it.

So, what are people's opinions on the last time the C's played Philly? Was
it really a Celtic letdown because Iverson left the game? Or did they really
stick it to us?

++ I thought it was a letdown because AI left the game. The Celtics were doing
well in that game, had won the previous game with AI in the lineup, and just
didn't take the Iverson-less Sixers seriously enough.

BTW, how 'bout them Bucks? Think they're running George Karl out of town or
what?

++ Karl should be fired, and the players have been trying to point it out to
the management.

+++ How 'bout the line Rogers submitted tonight - 25 pts, 5-8 on threes, 9
rebs, 4 assists, 3 blocks? Sure, it was against the Hawks but still...Delk,
meanwhile - what's going on with him? Is that the way he's gonna shoot?
It's good that Obie got the message after V went down, and pulled all the
starters except for RR. As stiff as V is (did you see those passes just bounce
off him like he was a slab of concrete?), he's better than that goofball
Blount. Not that either is going to play much in the playoffs... I also thought
KB looked really good tonight.

So this means nobody won the prediction contest?
