A riddle that could unlock the enigma that is Antoine

Question: What do Reggie Miller, Tim Hardaway, Jerry Stackhouse, Darrell
Armstrong, Stephon Marbury, Jamal Mashburn, Allen Iverson, Michael Finley,
Cliff Robinson, Cuttino Mobley, Baron Davis, and Chucky Atkins all have in
common?

Clue: The same thing they all have in common with Kobe Bryant.

Answer: They all shot a lower 3-pt FG% last season than AW. Bryant, BTW, shot
a pitiful 30.5% from beyond the arc last year.

So the issue to me isn't AW's 3-pt FG% and whether you want to label it as
mediocre or not; which coincidentally, is the same lifetime as Jordan's was
lifetime (and his '00-'01 % not far below Larry legend's career percentage of
.376); but rather a question of:

1) At his current 3-pt FG%, what is the theoretical cap/limit/threshold of
3-pt attempts he should be allowed to put up per game given the position he
plays (PF) and assuming they are not ill advised shots and occur within the
flow of the game?

or;

2) Given the dramatic improvement in his 3-pt FG% last year ('00-'01) from
the '99-'00 season and coupled with how hard he has worked this off-season
and thus continued improvement is not beyond the realm of posssibility, at
what FG% should AW be at to continue to have the green light from Obie? 39%?
40%? 41%?

This in turn begs one final question:

Assuming AW does show improvement in his 3-pt FG% over last year and
continues to have the green light from beyond the arc, at what point does
Obie and the coaching staff make the decision to shift him from the PF
position and make play him as a "3" to create mismatches on the offensive end
where he could post up and overpower smaller "3"s or remain outside beyond
the arc to draw bigger/taller "3"s away from the basket and utilize his
passing skills and his 3-pt shot to the team's advantage?
