Poke fun at Ray if you must, but I believe he attempting to pass on the news
that person known as 'Butch from the Cape' has just passed away after a bout
with cancer.

Question: how much more irrelevant could "Butch from the Cape" be to me?
Answer: not any more at all. Who cares? I'd much rather read up on Joe's
doughnut angle, frankly.
(Cecil: There's good satire, and then there's lame attempts at it. I
leave it to you to decide which it's posts are.)
All this talk about the retirement of some sports radio guy is making me
all weepy... . If only he could have stuck around some more, thrown a few
more hot dogs down his throat, swilled some more beer, and ranted about
sports using a faceless media. Ah, more's the pity. Hail to you, "Butch
from the Cape"!
(Fellowship of the miserable, indeed!)
