In response to the thread that the C's should wait to
see if Johnson matures before firing off any crazy
trades.... every year there's always someone on the
group saying the the C's should wait.  Wait until
Walker matures, he's so young.  Wait until the C's get
a real big man and things will turn around.  Wait
until they find the fountain of youth so Bird can
drink from it and make a comeback.  I say enough
waiting.  The team has been languishing for 5 years
with this type of mentality towards Walker.  So if
Johnson becomes the next Pierce, what do the Celt's do
then?  Keep Walker because there is a valid third
scoring option?  Does anyone really believe that if
Joe Johnson is the real deal, Toine will sit well with
that?  What's Walker gonna do, throw an extra 2 passes
JJ's way because he can score now?  No, Walker is
still gonna put up 1,643 shots and make sure he gets
his so he can be an All Star.  He hasn't reduced his
shot attempts with Pierce and he won't with JJ. 
Whether JJ becomes a solid #3 scorer is not the issue
plagueing the C's.  It's the lack of playmaking and
steady heady play from Walker who has been tabbed by
Obie to run the offense.  Get rid of Walker now and
get a better team player who can replace his
rebounding.  But who will run the offense?
Kenny is paid 8 mil to run the show as a point guard,
so let him do what he's paid for.
