Celtic tidbits from Vecsey

Peter Vecsey touched on this Antoine thing in his Sunday notes. I've also
included his take on Jamaal Tinsley. Anyone else think out "braintrust"
might have outsmarted themselves in the draft? (I wasn't high on Tinsley
either, but I'm not paid to know these things...)

Mark

Antoine Walker must think he's still trying to get Rick Pitino fired. And we
thought his shot selection, shooting percentage and carelessness with the
ball couldn't get worse. I was under the impression Jim O'Brien was going to
create a more balanced offense this season? Kenny Anderson being healthy for
a change makes that do-able. For the sake of the Celtics, I suggest O'Brien
seize this matchless moment.
Rookie Jamaal Tinsley boasts an uncanny instinct for making everybody
better. He's a faster version of Mark Jackson without having to dribble with
his back to the basket. Which is why seven Pacers reached double figures
against the Magic. Had Austin Croshere not misbehaved on seven of eight
field-goal attempts, they would've had another. Haven't seen such teamwork
in Indiana since the players all tuned out Larry Brown at the same time.
