penny stocks

I'm reading the list about draft prospects and listening to CNBC about
technology stocks. It's the same conversation: this company/player
has potential to . . .; this one is solid and can expect to grow
moderately over the years. Cool!
Kinda like appraising women: wow! just think, if she could ever learn
to cook and clean house!

I think the Battier's and Tinsley's of the world are demeaned somewhat
because they have already shown the ability to get better, round out
their talent, show not only an ability to defend but a desire to do
so--and for all that, we suggest they may not have terrific upside! I
understand that, but they have also shown what we want: the ability
to harness ability and desire and get better. Will they continue to
improve? Well, they have a good track record after four years of it
in college.

I'm not saying we should go for any bird in the hand, just don't
disparage those who have already developed much of their talent
because they aren't superman, yet. If we go for potential at ten and
eleven, the odds are even that we will get one excellent player and
one mistake. I would take that, but we must be realistic about
potential. Much of it is mental discipline and the "youth with
potential" have not yet shown that mental dimension. It (i.e. Moiso
and others) may not be there. After all, most have lived in a dream
world since they woke up to discover they were 6'10" and on a magazine
cover. Who knows if they will discover the parallel universe called
reality.

Enjoying the high level of discussion. This group has a high IQ
regarding BB talent. I think we are 28 days away from the day that
will change BBB history. Good things are gonna happen!
