Title: Re: [Celtic_Pride] "To the point."
Is anybody as stunned as I am that Kenny Anderson would
openly pine for the good old days of Pitino, a coach he, more than any
other player, single-handedly destroyed?  What must Kenny be on to
declare that other teams have interest in him when he knows Dallas wanted
three picks to take him on?  Damn!  That is sad.

The best I have seen the Celtics play in the last five years was when they were running and Anderson was at the helm. The worst was when Walker was in control.
O'Brien has tied his wagon to Walker and a point guard-less team, they lost a wheel tonight. It was Walker, not Anderson who brought Pitino down and O'Brien will be next.
No argument, Anderson came in out of shape this season and appears cooked. On the other hand, I say get a real point guard to run the team and get Walker back under the basket.
Pitino tried very hard to get the team to run and keep Antoine down on the block. He couldn't control Antoine and couldn't trade him becuase of the base year compensation rules.
I'll repeat my last post. If Antoine had reacted to Anderson's leadership like Bird did to Archibald's, Pitino would still be coach and we would all be enjoying an unselfish team in the midst of a contenting run.
