This was a total team effort tonight. What a downer the Lakers game was.
Kobe was out and Shaq was MIA for most of the night. A game they
should/could have won. Tonight was a game they could have let down but
everyone was focussed. Pierce is willing the team to victory, Twoine was
where he belongs, doing damage under the boards and Randy Brown was huge
in the 4th, offsetting Kevin Willis. Has a team this far under .500 ever
made the playoffs? Has a NBA finalist finished so poorly the following
year? How sweet it would be for Isiah to be sent home by the men in
green! I wonder if Larry was just an average NBA coach as well as
player.
