RE: Mixed reaction

I think the thing a lot of us are missing, too, is that we have lost to some

damn good teams over the past couple of weeks. The Lakers, the Sixers,
the Bucks, the Hornets at their very hottest; that's four of our five last
games.
I really wish we could have gotten last night's though; maybe we would have
if O'Brien had not decided to press. No good can come of that! Walter
defending Shaq -- how cynical can you get? Anyway, you can't expect to
win a game where you give up 112 points. Milt will make a fine backup to
Jaamal Tinsley or someone like him; and I hope we can trade the other picks
for a dependable scoring option down low, since everyone seems to feel
that's
what we are missing. Personally, I would rather see us play like Philly,
getting
decent shots from cutters and double teams, and dunks and layups off
turnovers.
We need a gifted pure point more than we need a scorer down low. But
anyway,
we lost last night because of defense. I'm glad I didn't see the second
half. OK,
now we have to beat Denver and Phoenix. I'm sure we can do it. Something
has
to give in this deathmatch with the Pacers; if we can just win a couple of
games in a
row, we should get our momentum back. It's been painful to watch the team
play
as well as they have and lose to the league's elite by close margins.
