crapshoot

I read the Usenet NBA draft scouting reports that someone kindly posted,
on Walker and Pierce. Try to guess which scouting report matches which
player. Its uncanny. It also reminds you what a crapshoot this whole
business is.

"Defensively he's improved a lot and is now adequate by NBA standards but
has plenty of room to improve. He has only two weaknesses: he turns the
ball over quite a bit and his outside shot is inconsistent. The turnovers
are generally due to carelessness. He is a good enough ballhandler and is a
very good passer, but he tends to dribble into traffic and lose the ball."

"Defensively, he can be a terror when motivated. He often was the lead man
in the press, as he guarded the man out of bounds. He has quick hands,
which often leads to steals (where he finished tied for 2nd on the team)
and instant fast breaks."

The first one (Pierce) is at:

The second (Walker) is at:

Another interesting thing: these scouting reports had Pierce weighing 5
pounds heavier than Walker.
