Pierce wants to stay

Paul Pierce was on Jim Rome's show last night with Pat Croce and 
Snoop-Dogg. Snoop hinted that Pierce, a California guy, might 
want to play for the Lakers and Pierce's reply was "I want to stay in 
Boston...I think I have some special in Boston and I want to stay."

This is not earth-shattering news, as most believe that we'll retain 
Pierce and not lose him to free agency, however, its "comforting" to 
hear him say it.
