06/04-BOSTON EAGER TO MAKE A MOVE- The Celtics are sitting on 3 draft
selections, and they seem to have it in their heads they want to move up.
After seeing many of the players they could likely grab in the 1st round,
the C's are aggressively shopping to move up. Word is Chris Wallace and
company see Pau Gasol as the guy they need and are offering a 2 for 1 to any
team in the top 5 , for a chance to grab him high enough to get him in this
year. The story is if Pau is selected lower than 5, he's not coming this
year, and will return to Spain rather than eat the $2 million buyout he has
with his club. The Celtics may have also found a home for troubled Kenny
Anderson, with the Charlotte Hornets reported to have offered Derrick
Coleman for Anderson and one of the C's draft choices. The C's how are
desperate for rebounding help are said to be considering the move.
