Re: Pierce should have been All-NBA

I'm surprised by some of the picks, although, knowing how "knowledgeable" most
sportswriters are, I guess I shouldn't be. Nowitzki must've gotten the TWG
vote, or maybe the voting media mistook him for Larry Bird. For, as good as he
is, I don't think he is quite good enough to make the 3rd team. I wonder who
submitted the only vote for 'Toine - maybe Michael Holley?
Kestas

Here are my picks, roughly preserving the positional structure of 2 guards, 2
forwards and a center.

1st team:
Shaq
Duncan
Garnett
Bryant
Iverson

2nd team:
Mutombo
Webber
Carter (F/G)
McGrady (F/G)
Kidd

3rd team:
Robinson (for lack of a better choice this year)
'Sheed (crazy as he is)
Malone (still formidable)
Payton (has faded somewhat, but still up there)
Pierce (IMO, better than Allen or Finley)
