According to ESPN, Abdur-Rahim was formally introduced by the Hawks as their
starting power forward.  Kukoc will be the starting small forward.  So
their starting center is going to be either Mohammed or Ratliff.

The Associated press reported the same thing. On the other hand, we know that Abdur-Rahim is not a power forward. He can play there in a pinch, but he didn't play much there for Vancouver and in fact, the Grizz' were constantly trying to find a four.
Now, we ask, why is Atlanta touting a front line with Kukok starting at the three? Tony is ageing, injury prone and recieves a large salary. Could they be smokescreening a trade? Is there a message to Nazr's agent that they can live without him?
In any event, Mohammed will receive offers of at least the 4.5 million and probably enough over that, to challenge the Hawks to let him go and certainly more than the C's will spend.
If they sign Nazr, which I expect, I doubt if it's for a trade. On the other hadn, I suspect a trade for Kucok, who we wouldn't be interested in, would be much more to their liking, although he makes the perfect sixth man.
