RE: Walker : All-Star sub or snub?
I really believe being snubbed is good for both Pierce and Walker.
Pierce especially is at a point in his career when he could overestimate
his stardom; Antoine I think is probably beyond slacking off on the basis
of some recognition, but if Red Auerbach believed one thing, it was that
everybody needed some extra motivation. I wouldn't want to be Glenn
Robinson, Brian Grant, or Anthony Mason and have to cover Twon. (Or maybe I
would want to be Mason, but that's another story...). Anyway, it's an
injustice any way you cut it.
