Trade Pierce

Ok.  Why not trade Paul Pierce?  Anytime the Celts are
on espn, they hype Pierce into being the next big
star.  The media LOVES Paul Pierce.  I'm thinking that
his trade value is exceptionally high.  Move him.  I
mean, sheesh, anytime Toine has a bad game people
immediately send out messages bashing him for missing
3s even though he leads the team in assists and
rebounding almost every game.  If people have such a
short leash with Toine than I'm going to rip on
Pierce, who deserves it more. Paul Pierce is worth
less than Ron Mercer at this junction.  Against the
Knicks he had another dismal performance.  What was
it, 14 points on 30%shooting and a handful of rebounds
and assists?  For someone who doesn't play any D,
doesn't grab boards, and doesn't pass to his
teammates, at least score a bit more consistently.  
IMO, Pierce has gone downhill since his rookie year. 
Well, I guess I'm done ranting now.  I'd be happy if
we move Pierce and Denver's pick for Vancouver's
Rahim.
